On Sunday June 22nd, the Stateline Bass Anglers 11th Annual Kids’ Fishing Derby was held on Milton Three Ponds which borders Milton, NH and Lebanon, ME. 25 children between the ages of 3 and 15 competed for prizes as they learned how to cast, land fish, and proper catch and release techniques. This annual event for Stateline is a fun family day that is capped off with a barbeque and special fishing related grab bags and prizes for every child who participated. A.J. Doyle, 9, took the title of Largest Fish caught, with a 4.22 lb. largemouth bass. The smallest fish winner was Tanner Hill, 4, with a .06 lb. sunfish. Other winners included:
