| Last time it was all about Go Big or Go Home, well today it was Got to Play the Game. Did you all get the memo??? Well it was a wonderful day on Winni after a long shutoff. John Diaco and Tod Alberto smash the records with four very, very nice largemouth and one very large kicker tipping the scales at 7.37 pounds. Does that sound like an airplane? It sure did look like one and that was lunker for today. Sweet win for the Skeeter owner John Diaco and his partner Tod. With 30 boats John and Tod lock in on the Skeeter bread. First place team came in with 18.29 pounds. Taking second place with 16.97, those old dog pros, Alan Denise and Scott Canelas. Their run and gun tactics for those bigger green fish paid off, but not enough to protect that springtime crown they won just a few weeks earlier. None-the-less well done guys. Ryan Richardson and Kyle Frank, this team came together at the midnight hour before the big dance took place and targeting only those green eyed beauties they scored big and took third place with 15.12. Fourth place was secured by Mark Miner and Joe Perez with 15.09. Look like these two got jiggy with it. Joe Perez throwing a Steve Graham perfect jig came to the scales smiling. Well done. Also targeting the green fish were Peter Weeks and John Wright and this played to their securing fifth place with 12.21. As John stated, phew, we just squeaked in. It does not have to be pretty as long as its green, money green that is. Complete results can be found here. Cashing in on the small mouth lunker for today was Mike & Victor McNary at 3.57. The final showdown for the Lowrance team of the year will be at Winnisquam on October 4th. Bring your A game. Good luck to all those that are going to Lake Simcoe in Ontario Canada. Go Team. The canned food drive was a huge success with anglers
donating 98 cans of food to be donated to local NH food banks. That's
20 cans more than the last tournament with 3 less boats. Thank you all
for your generosity.
